In accord with the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, all the doctors at Pediatric Dental Associates recognize that providing comprehensive care to individuals with special health care needs (SHCN) is an integral part of the specialty of pediatric dentistry. One of our fortes is being able to consider all facets of a patients’ medical history in order to discuss and treat all dental conditions

Our staff affiliation with Hackensack University Medical Center and close proximity to Valley Hospital in Ridgewood provides us with a strong network of medical professionals including but not limited to pediatricians, pediatric specialists (ie neurologists, cardiologists, allergists, oncologists), psychological/psychiatric providers, as well as ancillary providers such as physical, occupational, feeding, and speech and language pathologists. We are in alignment with the medical community to care for the families AND patients with SCHN by providing expert care.

In the fast paced world of technology that has lent itself to tremendous educational and medical advances for your child, we at PDA have not forgotten to take the time to LISTEN to your story and journey as a parent of a child with SCHN. At our office, there is great value placed on the time spent reviewing the preventive strategies and behavior guidance that is often the framework of the relationship you will have with our office.
